Rosanna Griffith-Mumby
I started with MSEL as the Project Manager for the European Union-funded FORCE (Future of Reefs in a Changing Environment project) in 2010. I have since become the Research Support Officer for the lab. I am responsible for the daily running and management of the lab. I support the PhDs candidates, students and postdocs on HR, finance. logistics and other activities.
I have worked within conservation for approximately twenty years. With an MSc in Environment and Development Education from South Bank University, London, I’ve been involved in various environmental education roles including being a volunteer with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, UK and in a consultancy with the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System Project. I also worked prevously as a resource centre manager, grant writer and project manager for Belize Centre for Environmental Studies and the Belize Audubon Society which has been one of the best learning experiences. Working for environmental non-government organisations meant you filled varied roles which I continue to do.
